Valkyrie
Direct-to-consumer storefront for a Lebanese activewear brand: women's, men's and accessories catalogue, cart, cash-on-delivery checkout, order tracking, journal and FAQ — built on Next.js.
Problem
Valkyrie is a Norse-inspired activewear brand from Beirut (“Est. MMXXIV” on the site) selling women's and men's pieces and accessories direct to consumers. A brand like that needs a storefront that feels like the brand, and a checkout that works the way Lebanon buys: cash on delivery.
The storefront is a Next.js/React application rather than a template shop: catalogue, product pages with prices, cart, checkout, order tracking, a journal and an FAQ.
What we built
- Catalogue — women, men and accessories, with product pages and prices in US dollars (Lysa Top $35, Sigrid Sports Bra $35, Valkyrie Summer Padel Dress $75 at the time of writing).
- Cart and checkout — cash on delivery across Lebanon; free delivery on orders of $100 or more.
- Order tracking — customers follow an order after checkout.
- Journal and FAQ — shipping within Lebanon typically takes 2–3 business days; no international shipping, as the FAQ states.
- Stack — Next.js with React Server Components; the site is hosted on the client's own infrastructure, not Devign's.
Outcome
- Live at valkyrielb.com with a working catalogue and checkout.
- Attribution note: valkyrielb.com carries no Devign credit; this page is Devign's own record of the work. A client quote will be added only when the brand approves one.
Verifiable facts only — no estimates.
