Arabic-First Agency App
A custom Arabic-first app for a TikTok LIVE agency, shipped under the agency's own name on iPhone, Android and the web. The client asked us not to publish its name.
Problem
A TikTok LIVE agency in the Arabic-speaking world wanted an app of its own: its name, logo and colours, its own domain and store listings, and nothing on screen that points anywhere else. The agency asked us to keep its name off this site, so this page describes the work without naming the client.
Agency software is usually written in English and translated later, so the Arabic ends up mirrored and machine-literal. This agency's creators and staff work in Arabic first, and the app had to read that way.
What we built
- Arabic first: right-to-left layouts drawn natively rather than mirrored, and an Arabic vocabulary for levels, rewards and rosters settled with the agency's team. English is the second language.
- The agency's own brand: its name, logo, colours and domain across the website, the web console and the iPhone and Android apps.
- Figures from TikTok Backstage: hours, diamonds and monthly performance read from the agency's own Backstage account, not typed in by hand.
- Running the roster: the creator roster, a level ladder the agency sets, its own rewards and events, staff roles, and messaging between the team and its creators.
- Its own server: the app runs on a server the agency owns.
Outcome
- Live on the App Store and Google Play under the agency's own name.
- Arabic by default, with English as the second language.
- The client's name is withheld at its request.
